Hunt Bowman founded the Canvas & Upholstery Center in 2007. Hunt had previously been in the canvas and upholstery business for many years. After retiring in 2006 he began to receive many requests from former clients to 'unretire'! So, In response to a need for such services, he and a group of individuals, that Hunt recognized as being very talented and experienced with canvas and upholstery products, began The Canvas & Upholstery Center.
This group of experienced craftsmen, from Florida, to California, to New England, have assisted with designing and implementing production friendly products for companies such as Freedom Yachts, Luhrs, Mainship, Hunter,Hinckley, Regal, Boston Whaler and various others. Their exceptional experience and knowledge of the marine and furniture industry has been combined to build a company whose vision is to provide products and service that will exceed our customer's expectations. We are excited about the opportunities this new venture affords all of us and hope to grow and set new standards of excellence and service in the industry.
Under Hunt's leadership and experience in building other similar companies that grew to have 75 + employees and, that provided products and service to over 1200 boats and other products a year, we are excited and confident about our future. We are off to a great start and look forward to building a strong relationship with many new clients.
